My coworker likes to call me “Mr Unnecessary” because of my smart home obsession. I didn’t agree with him until I started adding Hue Lightstrips to random places in my home. There are a ton of reasonable applications for having 80″ of flexible LED lighting, but hiding them under my sectional to make my living room look like a wedding venue is not one of them!
Ultimately, this Hue Lightstrip Plus will be installed on the back of my desk, and using the Hue Sync functionality, I will have it display the same color light as my monitors in an attempt to make gaming more immersive. I’m sure it sounds cooler than it is, but it sure looks cool in the videos.
