I previously reviewed the WeMo Light Switch if you would like a pretty detailed review. The switch, smart plug and other WeMo devices are all controlled via the WeMo app for Android or iOS and they all work using wifi. While I love the WeMo lineup, their one flaw is that they do not support dimming, which limits their uses. I prefer to use WeMo Light Switches for exterior lights when I can get them at a price similar to today’s.
This is likely the cheapest we will see any WeMo devices before the holiday’s, so if you’ve been on the fence, now is the time to buy.
